This is my current mindset. I’m due for a glow up, and what better time than the year I’m turning 30? I’m trying to be one of those women Benito’s talking about. (IYKYK) Here’s what I’m doing to accomplish this mission.
Jade rolling and gua sha-ing my face (tutorial)
One scoop of collagen in my coffee/tea (this one)
One spoonful of sea moss gel in the morning on an empty stomach ( I make my own using this brand)
Exfoliating my body, whether that’s glycolic acid (just on certain spots) or a sugar scrub
Eating high protein, low carbs (averaging at least 130 grams of protein a day)
My fitness routine: Pilates/weight lifting/12-3-30/7,500–10,000 steps daily
Meditating at least 5x a week
Journaling
Staying hydrated by drinking lots of water and tea
Moisturizing with raw shea butter
No more alcohol for the next six months (excluding my birthday and BFF’s wedding)
Cutting down on caffeine
Vitamins: B12, D, and magnesium
Less social media consumption
Reading before bed
Getting my nails cut and professionally cleaned, even if I’m not getting them painted
Prioritizing myself and my time
Listening to my body and prioritizing sleep/rest
